Terms and Conditions
Last updated on November 3, 2026
These terms govern the photobooth and decoration services offered under the name Mon Ballon. They must be read along with the quote and reservation confirmation, which specify the selected services, their price, and the terms specific to the event.
1. Quote and Reservation
A request for information or the submission of a form does not confirm a reservation.
To reserve, the client must complete the full form and pay a deposit of 50 CAD. The reservation becomes effective after written confirmation from Mon Ballon, subject to availability.
This deposit is deducted from the total agreed price. It does not add to the package price.
The confirmation specifies in particular the date, location, times, services, and agreed price.
2. Price and Payment
The price of services, applicable taxes, travel fees, and options are specified in the quote.
The balance is payable on the day of the event, before the start of the service, according to a payment method agreed upon and permitted by applicable rules.
Any additional service must be accepted by the client and Mon Ballon. Its price is communicated before its execution.
3. Cancellation by the Client
Any cancellation must be communicated in writing to info@monballon.ca as soon as possible.
The deposit may be retained, in whole or in part, only to the extent of the amounts legally due, particularly for incurred costs and expenses and work already performed, according to applicable rules. Any excess will be refunded.
The payment of the deposit does not deprive the client of their legal rights to cancellation or refund.
4. Change of date
A request for a change of date must be received in writing at least seven days before the initially reserved date.
The change is subject to the availability of Mon Ballon. When accepted and confirmed in writing, the CA $50 deposit is transferred to the new reservation.
Any modification of the location, schedule, or services that may change the price requires prior agreement.
A request received less than seven days before the event does not automatically benefit from this transfer possibility. It is examined on a case-by-case basis.
If no new date is agreed upon and the client cancels, the cancellation terms apply, subject to their legal rights.
5. Travel and access to the venue
Mon Ballon serves Greater Montreal. Travel is included only when specified in the quote or package.
Known additional costs, including travel, parking, or access to the venue, are communicated before the acceptance of the reservation.
The client must communicate the constraints of the venue and allow access at the agreed times for installation, performance, and dismantling.
The space, power supply, and access requirements are specified according to the reserved equipment.
6. Photobooth Services
The minimum reservation duration for the photobooth is two hours.
The initial rate and that of additional hours may differ. The reserved duration, schedule, and total price are specified in the quote.
Prints may be included or excluded from the package. Their presence, formats, quantities, or terms are agreed upon with the client before the reservation.
Any extension on the day of the event is subject to the availability of Mon Ballon and the client's acceptance of its price.
Sharing functions requiring the Internet depend on the availability of a suitable connection.
7. Decoration, Balloons, and Equipment
The content of the decoration, the provided elements, and the installation terms are described in the quote.
The client may keep the balloons after the event. The structures and backdrops provided remain the property of Mon Ballon and are retrieved according to the agreed schedule.
The client must allow for their retrieval and must not move, dismantle, or modify them without prior agreement.
For an outdoor installation, weather conditions, the stability of the support, and site constraints must be examined before installation. If an installation poses a risk, the parties seek a safe adaptation and agree on the consequences for the service.
8. Use of Equipment and Safety
The equipment must be used in accordance with the instructions given on site.
The client and participants must not handle cables, equipment, or structures without authorization.
Any damage is assessed according to the circumstances and applicable responsibilities. The presence of damage does not automatically result in billing the client.
9. Cancellation by Mon Ballon and technical incidents
If Mon Ballon cancels the service and no alternative solution is accepted, the amounts paid for the services not provided are refunded, including the reservation deposit.
In case of a breakdown during the event, Mon Ballon seeks a reasonable solution to restore the service or propose an alternative.
If a part of the agreed service cannot be provided, the consequences and applicable refund are determined based on the service actually performed and the rights of the client.
These provisions do not limit the rights and remedies provided by law.
10. Photographs and galleries
When booking, the client indicates whether they want a private or public gallery.
The terms of sharing, downloading, access, retention, and withdrawal of photographs are described in our Privacy Policy.
A private gallery does not guarantee that authorized persons will not download or redistribute the images.
Access is provided for at least three months following the event, subject to exceptions provided in the policy. An extension may be offered, without guarantee of access for three years.
The choice of a public gallery does not replace the necessary permissions from the photographed individuals and does not constitute a general authorization for advertising use.
11. Questions and complaints
To report a problem or file a complaint, please write to info@monballon.ca, indicating the date of the event, the services involved, and the nature of the problem.
Mon Ballon reviews the request to seek an appropriate solution. This process does not deprive the client of their legal rights and remedies.
12. Conditions applicable to the reservation
The terms and quote communicated and accepted at the time of booking constitute the reference for the event.
A subsequent modification of this page does not automatically change an already concluded reservation. Any modification must be agreed upon by the parties.
No provision of these conditions can exclude mandatory protection provided by the applicable laws in Quebec.
